Skagit Valley Tulip Festival (1)

Last Wednesday hubby and I  went across the line to see a sight we had only ever heard about—the tulip fields of the Skagit Valley (Washington) in bloom.

The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival lasts for the entire month of April. Last year we visited in early May and were too late. But not on Wednesday!

What a thrill to see a wash of pink on the horizon. It hardly seemed real. These photos are from the two Roozengaarde fields we visited.
