We are into a stretch of stellar weather here on Canada’s west coast. On Sunday afternoon we took a walk along Spanish Banks, Vancouver’s longest beach.
Walkers, cyclists and sunbathers enjoyed the sunshine. The still snow-covered North Shore mountains reminded us of winter just past.
Freighters were lined up in English Bay
Sailboats were out in droves …
Hundreds were playing or loafing in the sun. Just across the bay is the Vancouver skyline.
Even the carpet was summery. The lawn was full of these tiny daisies.
Next time you go for a walk, I wish I could go along.
