Monday Mural – 1929 Studebaker

Continuing on with our murals of the Sooke Agriculture Historium. Today’s mural:

OLD CAR, NEW POTATOES

Kay Welsh, sitting on a 1929 Studebaker, in 1948, with bountiful potatoes grown on the family’s Grant Road farm.

Those are quite the hefty spuds! And note the suicide door (oops–coach door) on the Studebaker.
