Mural Monday – Canada Day

Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians!

Today’s mural is a segment of a wider mural painted in the entryway of the Newton (Surrey B.C.) Superstore—the store in  my old neighborhood in which I used to shop for groceries.

No matter how kids get it—through books, computers, electronic tablets or even a human teacher—knowledge about and love for one’s country is always a good thing. Today we celebrate Canada Day and the beautiful country we call home.

    • Thanks Christy! I agree about the mural part of B.C. I live here too and have great memories photographing mural series, like those of Chemainus and Vernon. (In fact, my old mural blog has lots of those. I don’t post to it any more but it’s still up HERE.)
