Treadle sewing machines

Treadle sewing machines – Dawson Creek, BC (Photo © 2015 by V. Nesdoly)

This is a roomful of treadle sewing machines. My mom used one of these when I was a little girl.  Hers was a Singer and she liked it so much she got a motor for it and converted it to an electric machine.

This collection is in the Walter Wright Pioneer Village Museum in Dawson Creek, B.C.

To see more photographic interpretations of MACHINES visit the links at this week’s Thursday Challenge.

Next Week: BRIGHT (Sunny, Lights, Laser, Intense, High Key,…)
