The Gate

The pastors at our church are doing a series on “Who Is Jesus?” these Sundays leading up to Easter. Last Sunday pastor preached on “The Seven ‘I Am’ Statements of Jesus” One of them is “I am the gate.”
“ ‘I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.’ ” John 10:9 NIV
I found this curious fenceless gate along the Crescent Beach sea walk, Surrey, B.C.

I’m so grateful to be reminded of this! He has let me into the gate issues many times, and has used me to help others come in. About 20 years ago, He used me as a spiritual warfare person, and I still am as I’m heading to 70. Can’t walk as far and do as much, but can raise Him and the spiritual issues that I see and hear and when I drive around. YES! When I see a gate, I always think of Him and know He brings in so quickly, b/c of the love. Thanks much.
