Blooming hyacinths

I was tidying my garden a couple of days ago in an atmosphere sweetly scented by hyacinths. They have the most heady perfume and  remind me of what Paul says should characterize our lives as Christ-followers—the fragrance of Jesus:

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place” – 2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV

I ask myself—does my life smell of Jesus? Does yours?
