Mural Monday – Porter’s Bistro

Last week while touring visiting family around, we stopped at Porter’s Coffee and Tea House for coffee. This historic Murrayville building with its original floors, fixtures and cabinetry was formerly also a Post Office (it closed as that in 1998). The painting (below) hangs on the wall above where the Post Office used to be. It looks like a memory of what Porter’s and surroundings was before the area around 216th Street got built up and the road, with its current roundabout, got busy.
