Thursday Challenge – SPRING

For me spring is all about green. We experienced that green on Sunday when we visited Redwood Park. The above is a scene from that park. It’s a few acres that were once owned by a couple of brothers who began, in 1893, to make it a forest sanctuary by planting over 50 species of trees, both native and exotic. It became a public park in 1959.
